Ryan has been chosen as this past year's artist-in-residence at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, culminating in a huge, solo gallery at the end of July. The gallery will be a full room, and there will be a "big wine-and-cheese reception, and an audience containing several Nobel Prize winners, and many more on their way to one," Ryan says.
