Atlanta Celebrates Photography is an annual month-long festival made up of events, exhibitions, and other photography-related programs. This year, in an effort to work outside his photographic comfort zone, Joe decided to participate.
The exhibition Joe tackled was called "My Atlanta - Postcards of a city." My Atlanta is open to all photographers, regardless of experience. He Joe showed up, submitted his pictures, and wowed the judges! The photograph to the left won second place overall.
Needless to say, Utatans are ecstaticly proud of Joe for submitting his work, and more so for winning! We all know the guts it takes to put our work out there for squinting, bespectacled eyes to evaluate. Way to go.
