In July, the editor of What Digital Camera magazine contacted Gary, interested in licensing his image entitled "Cerro Torre and Fitzroy." The image appears in the current (October 2006) issue of the magazine, which contains twenty top tips on digital black and white photography. Gary's image is used to illustrate tip number 15: "shoot spectacular landscapes." The tip uses Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, and Gary's photographs as examples, and is accompanied by a photograph of Gary and the technical description of his photograph.
The photograph was taken on 2nd January 2006 in Argentinian Patagonia.
Utatan Louise was also published in this issue of What Digital Camera.
