Two of my shots of Drew Glackin, a wonderful musician and casual friend who died far too young this winter, were used by the Independent Weekly for an article on musicians and how they generally lack health insurance.
Drew would have lived if he had been diagnosed; his thyroid condition could have been treated for pennies a day. Like most musicians, though, he stayed clear of doctors.
