So details aren't finalised quite but I'm holding the first ever exhibition of Through the Viewfinder (TtV) to be held in Ireland. 11th August thru to 17th Sept at the Black Box an Arts venue in the City Centre. I'm all excited as the brochure for the venue has now got the image for inclusion.

I dropped it off today along with a wee speil. As if that wasn't exciting enough I secured sponsorship from not one but two different sources today and i have 3 other to close hopefully this week or early next (gotta have wine n nibbles at an opening eh?).

Update (Aug 2, 2008): Just to add that i managed to get my printing and framing boxed off along with invites and posters and i think i have the nibbles covered as well!!!

Update (Aug 28, 2008): The Newsletter which is the oldest newspaper still in print did this half page feature on me and my Through the Viewfinder Exhibition giving me and it a very favourable review........

Chuffed, chuffed I tell ya! Chuffed particularly after the Tate didn't choose one of my shots ;-(

I've also just been asked to sit on a panel discussing the future of photography as part of the Urban Arts Academy which i am also contributing to. I'm pretty excited as Pennie Smith will be on the panel too.

I'm honoured and chuffed and a lil scared too!!
