An album is a collection of songs. It's also the starting point for our latest Big Project:

Musical Notes

For this project, we're asking you to create an album. We're not really picky about what kind of album: maybe it's a mix for a good friend or a lost love. Maybe it's a soundtrack for the screenplay you've written and keep shoved in a shoebox in the back of your closet. It could be a concept album never made by your favorite band (or one by the band you daydream of starting as soon as you learn to play guitar). Maybe you'd like to set your life and memories to music — maybe your whole life, or perhaps just that summer you spent alone in that city far away from everyone you know. Create an album. A collection of songs.

Then comes the really fun part: create a cover (front & back), and any other photos that go along with it, and then write something. Lyrics, liner notes, a love letter, stage directions, a review. It's your choice; these are your musical notes. We can't wait for you to share them with us.
