The best images are the ones that trigger a feeling. Looking at this picture, not only do I feel the humidity in the air, but I can almost smell the rain. The thunderstorm is like a thumbprint on the image, giving it a surreal feeling of emptiness and solitude. It would perfectly fit in Frans Peter Verheyen's "No People" group. "Where are the people?" you might wonder. "They must be inside, watching the rain and the beautiful sunset, maybe hoping for a rainbow."
