Life is a messy celebration, sometimes. A long series of ceremonies punctuated with bursts of chaos and color, often glued together with tears, dishwater and sweat. Soon, the crumbs of yesterday will disappear in a soapy water baptism, the fingerprints on the juice glass will melt and the tines on the fork will gleam anew. For now, it is the artful pause between ceremonies.
