There is a singer by the name of Barlow who wrote a song called Cruise which I admire immensely. When I looked at this picture, the lines "Cruise ... Never check the review mirror ... Cruise ... Watch the future getting clearer ... Shut your mouth and close your eyes ... Put the seat back let me drive and cruise" popped into my head quite uninvited.

I'm a road trip girl, there's not much I love more than a thousand miles in front of me, a tank full of gas, a front seat full of tunes and a car with character. Here, as the title suggests for car aficionados, we have a 1957 Thunderbird and a 1969 GTO - two cars which, on any given day, I could spend all my spare time daydreaming about cruising down the highway. The perspective and color, the great saturation and detail capture perfectly the vitality of these old "muscle" cars ... and again I find myself humming ... "let me drive and cruuuuuuuuuiseeeeee..."
