the seawall

For those of you that missed it,  Sunday was Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day*.

A day when people with high-end digital cameras and lo-tech oatmeal boxes were united by one thing — the lack of a lens.

A day when you couldn’t even see through the viewfinder even if you had one, because the aperture was stopped down to the size of a sewing needle, or maybe a pin.

A day when you set up your camera or put down your box and let the light do its work with no glass to get in the way.

A day perfect for capturing the the motion of two people ambling along by the seawall, just like this.
