When I Grow Up, I Want To Be a Ballerina. No, An Astronomer. No, a Ballerina.

This photo is not just a photo: it’s a love letter.

It sings of love for Italy, in that splendid, peaceful view of rolling hills from above.

It gives thanks to cool stone and warm light, for granting us that sweet, sweet pop of color.

It’s a poem for this girl, and for every child — for all the new dreams they’ll discover in the years ahead, and for the passions already taking root. And it’s a love letter to every child who, when told that the sky is the limit, has the guts to look even higher.
