Melania Damianou

day three

On the third day you begin to see beyond the boundaries of reality, others might call it hallucination, you might prefer to think of it as freeing your perceptions. You will glance up and see a face looking down at you from within the patina of a wall. You think outside of boxes, you hear the voices of textures, and taste rough and burly colours. Whiteness sounds like owls and turquoise tastes of salt.

On the fourth day you begin to drink coffee again.
