Death of Photography

This right here–this is modern photography. Shot with a cell phone, processed to look like a Polaroid, intended to make an ironic comment about the state of photography, catching a spontaneous photobombing moment that undermines the irony and makes an entirely different comment than what was intended, a comment that’s probably more true.

Robert Frank, who knew a thing or two about photography, once said, “There is one thing the photograph must contain, the humanity of the moment.” This is it, right here.
