In response to the question ... " Is there a topic which is so overdone that the mere mention of which makes you want to [kill self]?" (from this thread) our very own inimitable emdot replied:
a.) yahoo is the devil
b.) yahoo is ruining flickr
c.) flickr = "big business"
d.) flickr = "big brother"
e.) art does not equal x
f.) art equals x
g.) flickr is ruled by cats/sunsets/flower macros
h.) i'm being censored by group admin
i.) i'm being censored by flickr staff
j.) so-n-so is a "fill in the blank" whore
k.) so-n-so is doing "fill in the blank" for attention
l.) why in the world has my photo gotten so many hits?
m.) so-n-so faved my photo but all his photos are of naked women so i blocked him that raving pervert
n.) flickr is filled with pornography!!!
o.) so-n-so made me a "friend" contact and i saw his penis and now i feel very harrassed
p.) people with "any arbitrary number" of contacts are not worth a grain of salt and are obviously "fill in the blank" whores
q.) my artistic credibility is tied to explore, which is overrun by (choose one: kitten, sunset, boobs, hdr, rebekkah), therefore explore is the devil and my genious creativity will never be validated in the way i demand
r.) i don't have time for people who only comment with mundane comments such as "wow" or "that's beautiful"
s.) delete me is the spawn of satan
t.) you all need to lighten up about delete me
u.) any thing touched by photoshop is not a real photograph
v.) photography must be pure out of the camera
w.) x type of photography is not valid as an art form
x.) utata is filled with elitists
y.) my photos deserve to be in 50 million groups including utata and the fact that you won't allow that proves that you are filled with elitists and in addition you are censoring my creativity and genius and are stopping people from seeing my masterpieces
z.) "fill in your topic here"
