For more information on Fair UseSlowly but surely things are sinking in and I am able to push my camera into doing more things for me than it used to. I am shooting with Fuji FinePix E900 and have just realized that I only have f2.8 through f8 and I really wanted to have f1.4 like all the "big" cameras. So, this got me to thinking about ways to push my camera to do more things.

Ninety-five percent of my photostream is composed of point and shoot shots. This statement is not meant to prove the awesomeness of point-and-shoots; I merely want to demonstrate that I have a pretty good idea where nudie head is coming from. I also want to offer some help, so I dug up a decent little tutorial; it's designed for film cameras, but most of the advice applies to digital, too: "Tips for Using a Point & Shoot Camera"

In the end, I think the best advice is that offered by Velvet G: use your imagination. Your camera can go nowhere that your mind doesn't lead it.
