The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

For more information on Fair UseTonight begins Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, a holiday of love, joy, and really sweet food. For the first time in several years, I had the good fortune to greet the new year with my family. (And oh what a serious occasion it was.)
Rosh Hashanah also coincides neatly this year with the beginning of (northern hemisphere) autumn, that oh-so-photographic season of rust-colored leaves and crisp blue skies. In fact, many Utatans are already enjoying fall glories; Mike Costolo shared some glorious scenes from New Hampshire in Tojosan's Seasons Change - Colors Too thread.
Over in Redtata, started by The Triskaidekagrammatron, a holiday-sized feast of red is laid out for our delectation. Red is my favorite color, so I enjoy all of the selections, but be sure to check out getthebubbles' fields of red and Solecism's dellicious dashes especially.
It's been a bright shiny day - and I hope you all have a colorful weekend.
