The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

Yesterday scottneumyer, in a moment of obvious madness, offered a free print of any of his photos to each of the first five takers. Wonderful! Generous! And not even remotely the end of things!
Inspired by Scott's "tremendous way to give Utatans a hug", more people began to offer free prints. And more. And still more. Within five hours of Scott's original post, over fifty prints had been given away. By now, the number surely surpasses one hundred.
Sometimes it's easy to be a misanthrope, to let yourself be a vessel for skepticism, fear, and distrust. But I think it's important to remember - and great to be reminded - that most of the time, most people are genuinely and delightfully nice. Especially around here.
And I am so glad for that.
