Being a bit of a nomad, I've lived quite a few places in my life and especially in the past five years. However, I've just moved into what I feel is my first "grown up" apartment. Maybe it's because I just got married; maybe it's because we plan to stay here a while, but in my new home I feel a sense of permanence and "mine-ness" that I've been lacking for a long, long time.
Why do I bring this up? Because of this:
So show me the heart in your home. The part of your home that made you know: THIS IS MINE.

I love this thread dearly - it's warm and cozy, like your favorite reading chair. How delightful of us to open our homes to our fellow Utatans! How loving and happy! Please pull up a chair and take your place around the photo hearth.
