The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

For more information on Fair UseOne of the nifty things about Utata is that as a community we get all kinds of nifty toys to play with that other groups don't.
We get super keen projects and articles and showcases and such, but more recently we've been getting even cooler toys.
A while back we introduced Utata log-in, which allowed you to better edit your Utata member page and edit testimonials.
Log-in can enable lots of other cool things too. Like .. I dunno' .. POLLS!
Earlier today, Utata launched Group Polls, which allows group members to log in and register their vote on any number of vital, pressing issues.
Like what type of camera you use, or what your favourite Utata project is, or which kind of cake is best.
Seriously, WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF CAKE IS BEST!
So log in and get to it .. it is your democratic duty!*

It's the NY cheesecake all the way (well, probably because I have yet to have a cheesecake in NZ that matches the one I had in NY). :)

The cheesecake. I adore cheesecakes but never tasted a New Yorker.
But I have to admit that to choose just one was very, very difficult, if not impossible! :)

"Panforte" sounds European and intriguing.
But chocolate trumps all :-)

Hate to be unoriginal but as a little girl I always spent my birthday going to Radio City Hall and then Horn and Hardart's automat for macaroni and cheese AND cheesecake! H&H cheesecake wasn't the Best but the atmosphere made it very special. I've been the rounds for great cheesecake in NY. Really, my fave was the fabulous cheesecake at our Long Island neighborhood bakery and they usually had the complete panoply blueberry, plain, cherry or strawberry. Plain and cherry were my picks.
