The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

For more information on Fair UseWay back in February 2005, Flickr API meastro jbum created a neato-keen graph of all the photos tagged "sunset" on flickr.
Graphing the photos by time, mister jbum was able to show a wave of sunsets, ebbing and flowing with the seasons .. earlier in the winter and later in the summer.
Last month, he updated the graph and now the curves are clearer than ever.
It's really cool to see this project revisited. There are many more sunsets on flickr than there were in February '05, and the graph really articulates how amazingly comprehensive flickr's collection is.

I'm a sucker for graphs and statistics. This is great!

The comments from everyone on that photo are also very interesting. It's pretty cool the explanation of all the "noise."
Great "Ink"...not sure how I missed it!
