The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

I love it when a good interview uncovers new information on old subjects. Little known facts that re-informs your perspective on something you thought you knew.
Most of the story that Caterina and Stewart weave in their interview with Inc.com was already common knowledge. Stewart getting ill in New York, the origin of the name, the financial situation leading into flickr development. These are things I'd heard about many times.
... But the hindsight on the acquisition price? The timing of the Telefilm grant? The TIED vote on whether or not to develop flickr?
Extremely interesting tidbits, these.
If you're at all interested in the history of how flickr came to be and came to be acquired, this is a must read interview.

Great interview. It's amazing to read how it almost didn't come to be.

Ha! My daughter is addicted to Neopets too. I guess I shouldn't be too worried. Thanks for the link.
