The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

For more information on Fair UseMany, many years ago in the village of Bethlehem - on a peaceful evening and under a sky full of many stars, candlelight shimmered off the straw in a tiny stable.
From this stable rose the quiet murmurs of shepherds and kings and the beestes of the earth -- for there, in a tiny manger and surrounded by all the warmth and love of these strangers was a newborn baby, his parents nearby and smiling with the happy knowledge of this most important event.
Then lo, into this circle of honour and caring trotted a most unlikely character; a donkey. But not just any donkey -- a MAGIC DONKEY.
First he passed by the other barnyard animals, and as there were no kittens, his head bobbed back and forth in disapproval.
Then he looked up into the sky and saw the sun had long since set. The donkey's head continued to sway, gravely disappointed at the passing of the golden hour.
The donkey's unhappiness was palpable, and the gathered crowd began to worry as he passed them by, shaking his head at each robe lacking contrast, each shepherd's crook not obeying the rule of thirds.
And then he turned toward the newborn child, body bathed in near unearthly light, as the crowd nervously awaited the opinion of this most opinionated donkey.
And there, in that most silent, most holy night .. the donkey did nod and bray and hee-haw his approval... for if there is anything this magic donkey could get behind, it was a cute little baby!
The onlookers sighed their relief, and applause rang out that could be heard throughout the village, warming the hearts of all who heard it!
And then the donkey farted.
The End.
