According to Adorama, April 29, 2007 has been proclaimed Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. Practitioners of this nearly lost art are encouraged to create and share new pinhole images, and the event even has a dedicated website.
Pinhole cameras range from the remarkably simple - such as this cam constructed from an oatmeal box - to complicated designs that require carpentry skills to construct. Digital users can also get in on the pinhole action: Holgamods.com sells digital SLR body caps modified for making pinhole images.
