The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

For more information on Fair UseLike a Spring Break for your Polaroid camera, 'Roid Week Spring 2007 rolls in on Monday, bringing with it the promise of five rollicking days of uninhibited insta-cam fun.
Five days. Five polaroids. (Or more, if you're so inspired.) Starting on Monday March 12. So, dust off your SX70, 600 or Polaroid weapon of choice this week and start shooting! Or dig out old squares you've found, stolen, or have had laying around since high school and scan scan scan.
Yes, they do still make Polaroid film - in fact, you can buy it at almost any drugstore. And if you don't have a Polaroid camera yet, well, they still make those too! Remember the satisfying "whirrrrr" of your picture rolling out, the excitement as you watch it develop? Oh yeah.
(Can you tell I'm excited?)
Anyhow, I'll be at 'Roid Week, and I hope to see you there. And if you need some inspiration, check out the awesome Polaroid sets of Utatans Dave Dunne, Poopoorama, and rutabegabunny.

I think we might need some offical utata science experiments regarding whether shaking a polaroid while it's developing will make you terribly sexy, or ruin the photo, or make it rain.. just an idea.
