The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

Some comscore numbers via A VC show flickr ranking above photobucket in terms of popularity.
photobucket, of course, being regularly considered the top photo hosting site due to its popularity for hosting photos and images for display on everybody's "favourite" social network *cough* myspace.
Of course what these numbers actually represent is open to debate, and comscore doesn't list yahoo! photos which comscore itself has previously declared to be the largest photosharing site.
Obviously there's only so much that one may read into these figures, since rating popularity on the web is still a rather inexact science, but the bottom line is that flickr is huge .. monstrously huge and continuing to grow rapidly.
It'll be interesting to see if flickr's recent "filters" implementation cuts into growth at all. I doubt it'll dent the growth very much, if at all.
In conclusion, flickr is massive.
...Like we didn't already know that.
