The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

Flickr fatigue. Yes, it exists. When you've collected hundreds if not thousands of contacts of diverging styles and have joined almost as many groups, sometimes it can become a difficult to find a photo or two that really piques your interest.
inSuggest is a great tool for quickly finding some photos that align with a specific sensibility. Begin by selecting a photo from a bunch of randomly presented images, or from a generic flickr search. Drag the selected photo up into one of the "slots" at the top of the interface, and inSuggest will display "image suggestions", based on patterns of flickr favourite making, that are visually similar to the first photo you picked.
As you continue to drag photos from the results up into the slots, inSuggest will continue refining its suggestions, allowing you to playfully find collections that match a particular mood or style. This is very intuitive and ultimately leads to finding photos and photographers you might not have otherwise, or at least not without wading through a lot of photos that don't suit your mood.
