The Daily Ink is the voice of Utata. Yes, your voice, our voices ... all the voices. We'd be tickled pink if our members helped us define that voice. And this, Utatans, would be your chance to do that.

For more information on Fair UseThe amazingly versatile Flickr API collects, collates and displays huge amounts of data from our images. Flickr's handy Camera Finder lists every type of camera used by Flickr users, and can be sorted by manufacturer or popularity. All the "latest and greatest" are on the list, along with brands of cameras which you likely never even knew even existed.
The graphs are "normalized", which is a fancy way of saying that they automatically correct for the fact that more people join Flickr each day: the graph moving up or down indicates a change in the camera's popularity relative to all other cameras used by Flickr members.

On quick analysis, it appears that the most popular camera on Flickr today is the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, which had over 83K items uploaded by 63K users over 24 hours.
And coming in last place? That would be the Apple Quick Take 100, which is ranked last of the four Apple cameras on the list, and only one person has ever uploaded images to Flickr from this camera.
Yahoo-Flickr integration provides perks to potential consumers wishing to go beyond the above-mentioned statistics by providing links to product specifications, reviews by Yahoo members, and of course, links to Yahoo Shopping. Now, isn't that helpful?
