I don't think I've been without a camera since the first time I picked one up as a very young girl but I still feel I have much to learn and that's why I love UTATA and Flickr so much...they are amazing places to learn and improve one's skills. What inspires me most is the work of other photographers, which is again why this community appeals to me. What I love to photograph most of all varies by the day, the one staple is nature.

Besides photography; I also love my goofy musician-husband, IKEA, long walks through the woods, my iPod, herbal tea and reading Jane Austen novels. My favorite movie, in fact, is Pride & Prejudice. I'm Scandinavian and can make the best Swedish pancakes you've ever tasted! I grew up in Vermont and I feel a part of my heart still lives there among the green hills and maple trees.
