I'm Brasilian from Rio de Janeiro living in the US. My thing is boat design; my hobby of many years is photography. The hobby was sleeping for a long time until I discovered digital photography and Flickr.

Flickr is my bridge to the world and has energized my passion for photography in a way that I could not have even dreamed about, just a year ago. My hat goes off to the Flickr developers. Thank you all!

I take pictures of everything, but looking at my photostream you will find mostly boats, ships and coastal scenery, sometimes I can not resist a beautiful car or motorcycle. Most of all I am trying to freeze time so I can re-visit that instant several times over.

I do not think I have a photographic style nor I am looking for one, I take pictures the way I look at the world; and it is constantly changing.

I have a love affair with the Nikon equipment since the days of the legendary F2.
