I'm in my thirties, based in the green and pleasant lands of the UK, and have recently realised that everything I had spent years trying to put down in words, I can do much more successfully in pictures.
Although I'm fairly new to 'proper' photography (I'm not counting the years of blurry snapshots), it's been in my blood since I could focus -;- my father was an professional photographer and spent his life working in film. Hence, I've been around photography and film equipment my whole life, and spent a few years assisting him on the weekends. How odd that I never realised how much a part of me it was until now.
My goals:- to capture something of myself and the world around me in images, and to make someone out there smile, laugh, frown or cry when they see something I've created. I'm particularly interested in fine art photography, urban and rural decay, and semi-abstract images.
