I'm a recently retired computer software systems architect who has ALWAYS had a passion for photography (local newspaper when a teenager, for example). Thankfully, I've now finally got some time to actually spend on DOING it, and (thanks to Flickr) am really having a ball!

I could not believe it when I logged on to Utata to write a testimonial for someone to only discover that nobody had written one for Bob! My only explanation was that he is so good that absolutely everyone assumed that he already had one written. So I mean to remedy that grievous error right now!

The only fields of photography that Bob hasn't excelled at are the ones that he hasn't tried yet. His sense of color, shape, form and light coupled with his natural composition skills makes every shot he takes worthy of study and admiration. Pretty much what ever kind of photography you like you can find in his Flickr photostream. Architectural, event, travel, landscapes, portraits and nature (my personal favorite) subjects are all captured with careful attention to detail and composition. I often think to myself, "I wish I had seen that" but with his photos it feels like I was there. So thanks Bob! Thanks for sharing your vision on Flickr and Utata.
