Bio

I am a 40-something married librarian. My subject specialty is Mathematics. I am also a part-time graduate student.

My father was a professional photographer.

I like photography because the process is all consuming. It is nice to turn out a piece of work, but the fun is in getting there. I also like photography because of the way it informs my vision 24/7. Even when I don't have a camera in my hand, I am more tuned in to light, color, texture, and composition--and that's a great benfit.

I also like dogs :)
