Born in Kansas City, Raised in Indiana, growed up big and strong in North Florida, moved to San Francisco ten years ago...probably staying put for a while.
Studied art and environmental ethics in school, worked in restaurants, a bird sanctuary, for an ex mafia born again christian fire extinguisher recharger guy, a botanical garden and now for myself taking care of fancy gardens in the City.
Took my first roll of film on a little Kodak point and shoot I got for X-mas when I was 10. Shot my GI Joe's in various dangerous situations and got in trouble for "wasting" perfectly good film. I wish I still had those photos today.
Took a photography tutorial in college that was not supervised and learned very little except that I did not have enough money to learn photography that way.
Spent years making photos with my Olympus Stylus until I broke down and bought the Canon Powershot A85, then the Holga, then the Canon EOS 20D, and the Kodak Duaflex. Then I found Flickr and I don;t do anything else except look at everyone's photos and run out and take more of my own.
