Bio

Photography is my passion and my work is a reflection of everyday life and places. I create images to depict the subject as they are remembered in the mind. Not posed or unnatural, but as a window into the intimate world of the subject.

I find my inspiration from wonderful photographers as well as my everyday surroundings. I grew up and currently live in Charleston South Carolina with my loving husband and two dogs (our children).

Amanda has a oneness with her camera that all photographers aspire to achieve. Her gift to manipulate the natural colors of a scene is unmatched in the way that the colors seem to move and brighten for her. It's in the same way that babies seem to smile brighter and flowers seem to open a little bit more for her lens. There is a great sense of humanity in Amanda's pictures, it's apparent that she truly loves her craft. The fine thing of it all is, her subjects seem to love to be made into her art.
