Bio

My old life was as a classical singer, mostly in the world of opera. Although I don't do that any longer in the real world, in my heart I am and always will be a singer. My head is constantly full of music.

But now my heart is also full of taking pictures. I'm trying to learn to 'catch' the intensity of life, both its beauty and its agony.

I don't know where I'm going from here. I'd like to think I still have some loving and joy to do before my body and soul pack up and leave for the coast.

I grew up on the east coast of Scotland in the Kingdom of Fife, and after a long time in London and other places, I've returned to Edinburgh, where I last lived twenty years ago.
