Bio
As a frustrated artist who can't draw or paint to save myself, photography has provided me a way to exercise my creative need over the last 30 years. Since getting hold of my first Kodak Instamatic at the age of 10, I've been shooting photos regularly as art and documentary pieces. I have wide ranging photographic interests but tend to gravitate towards landscapes and abstracts based on bold shapes and highly saturated colours.
Outside photography (which occupies less time these days than it used to), I am a software engineer writing code for digital TV systems. I currently live in Austin, TX with my family but am originally from Lanark in southern Scotland.
