In the "real" world I'm a physician, epidemiologist and bureaucrat working in health policy. In "my" world I'm a woodworker, webdesigner and sometime photographer. My work takes me to interesting places so my pictures are often part travelogue but I'm always on the outlook for neat "stuff" as well. And I guess you are serious about photography if you lug 5 pounds of camera gear 45 miles up a glacier to the top of a 14,000 foot peak!
Don't let the stethoscope and white lab coat fool you, he may look like a physician but David is a photographer.
David was bitten by the camera bug as a teenager. The resulting fever lead to his setting up a darkroom in his parents basement to print 127 film. Medical school did not, alas, soothe the fever and he now has an impressive body of work to show for it.
David is a family man who enjoys the outdoors. He travels about the world, always with camera in tow. His images bring you along in his travels to some spectacular places and make you feel as though you were there, if only for just a moment in time.
