Photographer in black-and-white in high school, old school: film tanks, enlarger, the works.
Resurrected interest early in 2005 with the purchase of a modest CoolPix 3200.
Mid-forties father of three, the first deceased. Married almost 23 years to the one and only lover of my life.
Day job: teaching Writing Skills for the G.E.D. to adult men at Prairie du Chien Correctional Institution, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. I live across the mighty Mississippi River from PdC, WI, in the humble hamlet of McGregor, Iowa.
Born and raised in Dubuque, as was my wife, I live within sixty minutes of that wonderful city.
