I have been painting and drawing since I was a child. My goal back then was to end up in a book. And I actually have made it into several books - but not for my paintings. But there is still time...
In the 90's I took photography classes. I shot in B&W and absolutely loved the work in the darkroom. But life shifted as it always does and the camera started to collect dust.
Life has taken another turn and I am finding my paints collecting dust. I needed a new creative outlet. Naturally I renewed my interest in photography. I purchased a new DSLR and am on my way. I have much to learn and who knows what the future holds. I might even learn how to make my own books.
