Bio

Marya Figueroa is a perennial dabbler who lives on the Central Coast of California. She has been creating web sites since 1997 and has had her HTML fingers in web sites for Apple Computer, Hewlett-Packard, Yahoo!, and many others.

Creatively, Marya has focused on graphic design and writing, most interested in light-hearted word play, poetry, and songwriting, while copywriting has paid her bills for a few years in her professional career.

After relying on dime-store disposables or borrowed cameras from friends, Marya finally got her first camera for Christmas in 2004. It's been non-stop picture taking ever since. Her New Year's Resolution includes practicing restraint in not photographing every damn moment of her life.
