A photography student / husband / dad / office monkey / music lover / person.
My best work is on my photoblog+ called phojus.
I live and work in Greater Manchester, UK. And I'm studying The Art of Photography in my spare time with the Open College of the Arts. I'm a little bit arty and I love music.
I have a big fat digital SLR which I love; it's been a tough relationship but we're getting along fine now. And a lovely little Lomo which goes everywhere with me. I keep threatening to start drawing /painting again and made a few sketches on holiday recently. I'm getting into writing too although I'm not very good.
My main motivation in photography is that I do it because I love it and am inspired by the work of others. I hope to make some money from it one day, but either way I'll never put my camera down.

Justin’s photos have long been of interest to me. His architectural photos around Manchester use geometrical shapes and lines to good effect. They contrast well with magical pictures of fireworks that illuminate the buildings in a different setting. He has an artistic flair and brings a new dimension to portraying the cityscape.
Don’t miss his blog sites and in depth and thoughtful account of progress in The Art of Photography with the Open College of Arts. As I am doing the course myself I can recommend this site as an exemplar of how to go about the course – very useful when you get stuck!
