I started with Photography when I wanted to preserve childhood memories. I like seeing things but dislike clutter. So photography was a great compromise. I started photographing the things I have saved from my childhood and then I took that item and passed it on to others who would enjoy having it in their home. Looking at the photos brings back all the memories I wanted and it has freed me up from having to clean, store and care for the items.
I then went on to preserving family photos. I would take the old faded photos and try to identify the people and places.
I began working on our family tree. This is what led me to scrap booking. But then I disliked the cookie cutters forms, stickers, stamps and items that I could find out in the products. So I began to alter my photos with Photoshop and bring Art to my memories. This altering of pixels and then working with getting better photographs has really sparked my interest in area.
Now I carry my camera with me at all times and I just love bringing different textures and adding that to my Digital Scrapbook.
I am looking for an amazing name to call what it is I do, Digital Scrapbooking does not cover the areas I work with. It is more than that. My memories belong to the Art of my Heart..... O Lord, that is not the name I want either so i will continue to look.
