Will Pickering is crazy about trains-you can tell from looking at his flickr stream that he's photographed trains in Australia, trains in Seattle/Vancouver, tram style trains and old locomotive engines up close. But, there's more to his work than trains, his photography gives you a sense of place. He uses bright colors and unique compositions to elevate his subjects-to give you a sense of what it's like being there and it helps you compare the natural elements in his landscape with those engineered by man.
