Amature photographer based in the great state of New Jersey, I shoot mainly with a Canon 20D with a 17-85mm lens. Over the past seven years, my equipment has progressed from a plastic point-and-shoot (how I recorded my first trip to Europe) to a Canon RebelG film, to now a Sony Cybershot to the 20D, bought before going to Italy in September '06. I've been fortunate to have a couple of close friends who are world-class photographers and they have gently and patiently showed me the way to making nice photos. I still have a lot to learn though, that's for sure.
Primarily, I like to do portraits (people and food), street and nature photography, and my dogs often make an appearance. Love to travel, take photos, and remember those trips later on.
To stay disciplined, in 2007 I started, and completed A Photo A Day for 365 Days project. I'm currently working on a 100 Strangers project - doing portraits of 100 strangers. I'm also submitting my work more often for local coffee-table books and magazines.
