I love looking at Karen's photographs. Whether the subject is a cup of coffee, family, friends or strangers she seems to capture the joys of life in so many of her photos. A wonderful sense of humor in her captions and captures, beautiful colors, and a photostream that is guaranteed to make you smile.

My favorites are her portraits. She seems to have a magical ability to get people to relax which allows her to capture that look or expression that makes you feel as if you know the person. It's no wonder she's a courageous enough soul to tackle the 100 strangers project (which is where I first noticed her work).
