Alan is a photographer living in the Denver, Colorado area. He made his first print in the darkroom at summer camp in 1983. While he is a fan of all things digital, he uses 19th-century technology for printing, and usually for negative-making, too.
He is magnetically attracted to the Rocky Mountains, and has a hard time leaving, unless it is to visit other places with mountains, friendly people, and quiet spaces to make photographs.
alan is currently photographing roads, trash, people, grass, rocks, and offramps.
