Bio

I have been involved in photography since my mother bought me a German rangefinder camera when I was nine years old. That thoughtful gift led me to a profession that has put a roof over my head, filled my belly and my soul for many years. I consider all of my photographs to be Spiritual in nature.
I am now able to give back by teaching photography at a local Community College.I have taught over 1,000 students basic photography. I'm now working on my second 1,000. I love my students. I love teaching...And I'm crazy about photography.

Robert's photographs are layers of texture and meaning. He has both shots that explore both the natural and the urban. Robert is not one to shy away from experiment and innovation or social commentary, all with a twinge of surrealism. His varied photostream is a delight to explore, as are his sets of collages and Death Valley benches.
