I was a "point and shoot" kind of guy for many years but recently, my interest in photography as art has grown, so I have traded in my Canon Elf for a Nikon DSLR. I am spending most of my camera time experimenting and trying to visualize pictures before I start clicking the shutter. I really want my "good shots" to be more than just luck; I want them to be the pictures I see before a raise the camera to my eye.
