Bio

I am a programmer by profession and take photographs for fun. I don't focus on any particular subject although I particularly enjoy photographing people and often relax on weekends by roaming around on or near the beach with my camera. I have an interest in aviation and photograph aircraft at air shows whenever I can.

Steve's obvious love of mechanical creations and machines, human and otherwise, makes him a natural trainshooter. He brings technical perfection and precise clarity to his photographs of planes in flight, beachniks at play in the water, flowers and landscapes and - of course - trains.

If anything, his compositions are so clear that they seem to show the moments between moments, suspensions of time scooped up from the floor of some cosmic editing room. He shoots metal with all the expressive care he brings to skin, filling his frames with personality and conversation.
