Bio

Best known as Speedy's dad, Tom spent much of his childhood drawing, building things with blocks or Legos, and making stuff in general. He discovered photography early and never let it go.

As an adult he has dabbled in film, video and illustration but has mainly been an art director and graphic designer. Photography became more than a hobby with the advent of digital and sites like flickr.

Capturing light, life and his daughter's childhood make him happy.

T_Squared was one of the first photographers I found on the internet who really inspired me. He has an amazing eye for the most fantastic details in things that most people would never give a second glance. His use of texture and color are immaculate and every time I see his photos I feel pushed to take a look at my world more carefully.

One cannot think of T_Squared without also thinking of his adorable Speedy either. His loving portraits of his family have always put a smile on my face.

So here's to T_Squared, the man who inspired so many of us who first picked up a camera and who encouraged so many of us as we were just starting out back in the infancy of Fotolog, and who continues to inspire us today.
